Ranipuram is a famous tourist destination in northern Kerala. It is located at an altitude of 750 meters in Kasaragod. It's a great place for a picnic and you can sometimes see elephants too. Once known as Madathumala, this region borders Karnataka and has some of the best trekking trails in the region. There are regular bus services on this route and jeep driving is another popular activity among tourists.
